Colegios Ramon y Cajal has been offered the wonderful opportunity to participate every Monday on the radio show THE MAGIC HOUR with Marilin Iañes. Students aged 9-12 will have the chance to go to the Vaughn Radio studios and show their English speaking and understanding abilities.
So far, we have proudly done three shows and hope to continue this adventure. The shows are aired live at 13:30 PM and rebroadcast at 18:30 PM every Monday but if you miss it, everyone can listen to the show on our own Website. So put on your English thinking caps and show us what you got!

When I went to the radio with the English teachers, it was really fun. At first, I felt really nervous but later it wasn’t so bad.
They ask you things about your name, age and more things. Later, we played some memory games that were really difficult. There were individual games and team work games. I WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! IT¨S GREAT TO SPEAK ENGLISH OUT OF SCHOOL!

My name is Diego and I am a student of 5th C. On Monday, the 23rd of February, I visited for the first time a radio station. I collaborated in a program called “THE MAGIC HOUR” with two students from my school: Mark and Pierre.
I was impatient to begin the program and nervous. The Presenter was called Marilin. She did a few questions to get to know us better. Later, we played very funny games. When the program ended, she congratulated us.
It will be one of the experiences that I will never forget throughout the years.
